WHO IS THE K9 CORSO CLUB?

The K9 Corso Club was founded by Raquel, a Bay Area native with a deep passion for animals. Raquel has been surrounded by dogs her entire life, having volunteered at local animal shelters, shown an affinity for approaching stray animals while traveling abroad, and frequently requested multiple dogs from her parents as a child.

In 2021, Raquel adopted a Chihuahua mix who arrived with significant behavioral challenges. Over the years, she successfully managed these issues. Additionally, she had a Cane Corso named Bronxx, who also experienced behavioral difficulties and sadly passed away in June of 2024. Currently, Raquel's dogs, Minnie and Delta—a Cane Corso, which has always been her dream breed—along with her cat, Nala, thrive together in her home in the Berkeley Hills. In her spare time, Raquel enjoys spending time at the beach with her dogs, training Delta, and volunteering at a local animal shelter.

Raquel believes that dog training is not solely about obedience; it is about fostering a deep, lasting connection between pets and their owners while educating clients on various effective techniques. In addition to offering professional training services, Raquel provides basic pet care, drawing on over eight years of experience in the field.
